This dynasty followed the Dynasty XIII, which can appear anachronistic. But there were in fact several dynasties at the same time during the Second Intermediate Period. Darius III Codomannus
In 332 BC, Alexander the Great enters in Memphis and frees Egypt from Persian domination by driving out Darius III Condomannus. Between 332 and 323 BC occurs the Macedonian conquest, which ends with Alexander’s death. Egypt passes then to one of his officers, Ptolemy, who first rules the country as a satrap. Then, in 305 BC, he confers on himself the title of king, founding a Greek dynasty which will be strongly influenced by Egyptian culture.
